These Terms of Service govern your use of Credential Register (the "Service"), available at credentialregister.com.
1. The Service is a records-management tool. Credential Register stores documents and information entered by users, tracks dates, and records decisions made by named users or external providers. Credential Register does not verify, validate, or attest to the authenticity, adequacy, or compliance of any document, and makes no representation that any vendor or contractor is compliant with any law, contract, or standard. All compliance decisions are solely the responsibility of the customer. Where a vendor shares credentials — by share link, by connecting to a customer, or through a group they belong to — the Service presents what that vendor stated, attributed to them, and forms no view of it.
2. Accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are available both to customers keeping a register and, free of charge, to vendors, contractors and the groups that manage them.
3. Your data. Customers retain ownership of the documents and data they and their vendors place in their register. Vendors who hold their own account retain ownership of the credentials they catalogue there and choose who those are disclosed to — which customers they connect with, and who receives a share link. A share link is accessible to anyone holding it for as long as the vendor leaves it active. Documents already disclosed to a customer remain in that customer's register afterwards, as a record of what that customer held and when, and ending a connection stops further disclosure rather than withdrawing what was already provided. You grant Credential Register the limited right to store and process this material solely to provide the Service, including through the service providers we use to operate it.
4. Acceptable use. You may not use the Service to store unlawful content or to infringe the rights of others.
5. Subscription and trial. Paid plans are billed in advance. Trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.
6. Disclaimer. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Credential Register disclaims all liability arising from compliance decisions made in reliance on information stored in the Service.
