Third-party verification, done honestly
Credential Register keeps the records; independent verification — when you want it — comes from external providers, and their results are always shown attributed to them. The platform never makes a validity claim of its own.
Request a check
From any document, you (or the vendor) can request verification from a provider connected to the platform — insurance verification, license-registry lookups, KYC/KYB, or background screening.
The provider does the work
The request is tracked with a status while the provider checks the document against their own sources. Credential Register does not read, score, or judge the document itself.
The result comes back, attributed
When the provider reports back — via a signed callback or recorded on their behalf — the document shows "Verified by [Provider] on [date]". The claim, and the accountability for it, stay with the provider.
The provider's name and date always travel with the result — the claim belongs to them, on the record.

Kinds of checks you can plug in
Insurance verification
Providers that confirm coverage directly with carriers or their data networks — useful for COIs where you want more than the certificate.
License registry lookups
Checks against state and trade licensing boards to confirm a license number is current with the issuing authority.
KYC / KYB screening
Know-your-customer / know-your-business identity checks on the companies you're onboarding.
Background screening
Worker-level background checks through accredited screening companies, requested per individual.
Built to integrate
Providers connect through a clean driver interface with signed webhooks, so new services plug in without changing the core. Running a verification service and want to be available in Credential Register? Get in touch — the integration surface is small and documented.
