No. The vendor portal is free for your vendors and contractors — that's the point. You pay for your workspace; they just keep their documents current.

No. Every paid plan includes unlimited staff logins. You pay for the number of vendors you track, not the size of your team — nobody should be sharing an account, least of all on a system that records who approved what.

Active vendors in your register. Mark a vendor inactive when you stop working with them and they no longer count — their records stay exactly where they are, because a compliance register is a record, not a rolling list.

Two months. A yearly plan bills 10 months up front and runs for 12, and you can switch between monthly and yearly whenever you like.

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from Billing. Changes prorate automatically.

No. The 14-day trial starts when you create your workspace; pick a plan whenever you're ready. The Free plan needs no card at all.

Yes — your team can record documents you already have on file directly, so you start from your current state, not from zero.

Then getting them set up is a request rather than a chase: ask to connect, and once they accept, the credentials they choose to share arrive in your register and stay current as they renew. They still count as one vendor against your plan, and it still costs them nothing.

Yes. Vendor accounts, their share links, their workers, and the management desk agencies and associations use to run member companies are all free, with no limit on the credentials they hold. Paid plans are for businesses keeping a register of the vendors they hire.

Yes. A subcontractor is a vendor in your register in its own right, so an active one counts like any other, whether you added it or one of your vendors did. If your plan is full, a vendor trying to add one is told to contact you.

No. Projects, jobs and sites are unlimited on every plan, Free included.

If you haven't chosen a plan, your workspace moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: you keep every vendor and document, but while you are over Free's limits you can't add vendors or teammates until you upgrade or mark some vendors inactive.

On Scale and above, yes — your workspace and your vendors' portal can both answer on a hostname you own, such as compliance.yourcompany.com, alongside the address we issue you.

Yes, by arrangement. We can switch your workspace to invoicing — bank transfer, cheque or purchase order — and your plan and limits stay exactly the same.

In Canada on every self-serve plan, with encrypted backups in a second Canadian city. On Enterprise, we can arrange for your data to be housed in the United States or the European Union instead.
